Hermès offers the privilege of special orders, commonly termed Horseshoe Stamp or “HSS”, exclusively to their elite clientele. And this past year a new style was added to the roster of possibilities: the Kelly Pochette. This clutch, first spotted in 2004 in Jean-Paul Gaultier’s first runway show for Hermès, has seen its popularity rise to the level of the Kelly bag it is inspired by. This example is among the first examples of HSS Kelly Pochettes to come to market. The taupe Swift calfskin body is accented with rose azalee interior. In store-fresh condition, this Pochette is the first in an exciting new era for this iconic design.
